Keeping downtown moving

Every business inside the work zone keeps full pedestrian access, signed wayfinding to your front door, and at least one nearby loading window. Use the resources below to plan deliveries and manage signage.

Loading windows

During Phase 2, expanded loading windows allow trucks up to 30 ft. Outside these windows, designated alleys and side streets remain open for short stops.

Main Street corridor

5:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Expanded by 3 hours during Phase 2.

Elm Avenue

5:00 AM – 9:00 AM, 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Two windows daily.

River Road

All day, max 20 min stops

Active loading only; no overnight.

Delivery & curb permits

    Choose your permit

    Single-day curb reservation, 30-day standing delivery, or oversize vehicle escort.

    Submit at least 48 hours ahead

    Routine permits are issued within 1 business day. Same-day requests handled by hotline.

    Receive signage

    We deliver no-parking signs and place them 72 hours in advance per state law.

    Confirm pickup window

    Day-of confirmation by SMS and email.

Storefront signage

Free 'We're Open' window decals and sandwich-board permits, picked up at the project office.

Wayfinding signs

Signed walking routes from every transit stop and parking garage point to active storefronts.

Marketing co-op

Joint advertising in city newsletters and a downtown gift-card program for the duration of construction.
